The Indian national football team have announced they have scrapped their planned visit to Blackburn due to the current difficulties at Rovers.

Blackburn owners Venky's had initially invited the national team to Brockhall for a training camp, but India are now due to travel to Dubai instead.

India Football Federation general secretary Kushal Das said in a statement: "Blackburn have told us that this is not the right time to visit the club," said All India Football Federation general secretary Kushal Das.

"They are going through some management problems at the moment."
