Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee has expressed his delight after the Pirates signed Stoke midfielder Matthew Lund on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old, who has previously spent time on loan with Oldham and Hereford, trained with Rovers for the first time on Monday.
McGhee was delighted with his latest acquisition, telling the club's official website: "I had a call from ex-Rovers player John Rudge offering us the opportunity to take the player for a month.
"It is a good deal for everyone as they want to offer us some support, the player wants to get some games and we get to have a good look at him."
