Everton defender John Heitinga admits he is happy to be playing at centre-back after covering in a number of positions.
The Dutchman has helped out at full-back and in a holding midfield role in the past two-and-a-half years since joining the Toffees from Atletico Madrid.
But with Heitinga back in the centre of defence the Toffees have conceded just 10 goals in their last 11 matches, to leave confidence high ahead of the visit of Chelsea on Sunday.
"Everybody knows centre-half is my best position and my favourite position and the one I feel most comfortable in," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"I feel very happy. I'm happy with how things are going, but I know that I must continue to do my best in every single game I play. I will do that again on Saturday."
As for the game itself, Heitinga is quietly confident of success against a Blues side that have lost in their last two trips to Goodison Park and conceded a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Manchester United last time out.
"We are confident at the moment, the team is confident and we are looking forward to it ," he added. "In the past we have beaten them so we know we can do it."
