Torquay boss Martin Ling and defender Mark Ellis have been named League Two Manager and Player of the Month for January.
Ling has led his side into the play-off places with five consecutive victories over the course of the month.
Three successive 2-1 away wins over Plymouth, Macclesfield and Morecambe were followed by back-to-back 1-0 home successes over Dagenham and Northampton to leave the Gulls sixth in the table.
Ellis helped to keep two clean sheets during that time and has been prolific in the opposition penalty area, netting in three of the five games.
