Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill has competition for places at Glanford Park for the first time this season.
New loanees Jamie Reckford, David Mirfin and Jon Parkin and permanent signing Robbie Gibbons are all hoping to make their debuts at Yeovil on Saturday, while on-loan defender Christian Ribeiro (concussion), skipper Cliff Byrne (groin) and midfielder Damien Mozika (ankle) are close to making their returns.
Striker Jordan Robertson (hip) and midfielders Jimmy Ryan (knee) and Michael O'Connor (groin) could also return to contention.
Knill told the club's official website: "I actually have more players in training than there are in the treatment room, something we haven't had here for quite a while.
"That puts more pressure on the players that have the shirts. They know that there are decent players on the sidelines waiting to get in.
"You can see that in training already, there has been a lift. Now we have to try and ensure that we keep the side fit for the rest of the season and give us a chance of climbing the table."
